I would like to ask your permission to use a paraphrasing activity you wrote about in your blog on Dec. 31, 2014 for our tutor training program. If you grant me permission, I will cite your blog in our Tutor Handbook.

    I would like to show your book shape (concrete) poem to a year 1 class in Australia. I would be showing it on a powerpoint slide and reading it to them.

    • Thank you for asking. I would be happy to have you share with students. Another example of a concrete poem that I really like is in the book Hate That Cat by Sharon Creech.
